how to write angie a letter
Thanks to all those who write Angie a letter. She will be so happy to receive a note from you on her mission.
To send a letter to Angela this is what you do. (its a pouch mail address)
Letter folding instructions:
Lay the letter blank side down, Fold the bottom of the letter about one-third of the way up the page a crease. Fold the top of the letter to the bottom of the first fold and crease. Secure the long side with two pieces of tape about one inch in from each end, but do not seal the ends. In the top left corner write your name and complete return address. Affix first class postage in the top right corner. In the middle write this missionary address as follows
Angela Christy Helsten
Ukraine Donetsk Mission
POB 30150
Salt Lake City, UT 84131-0150
It can only be a one page letter. This letter goes to salt lake city then delivered to her. It could take up to 3 weeks. If you are wanted to send it straight to Ukraine it is probably some where around $5.00. You can always email her she just can't email straight back to you. It will be emailed to my mom then she will forward it to you.

Ukraine
Bits of a letter from Sister Helsten
I am doing good I made it though another week its crazy that I have already been in the Ukraine for almost 2 weeks. a lot of stuff has happened since last week so I will start from the begining. First off I want to tell you a cool story that happened, So we see this lady in the park everyday during morning contacting and she is so sad all the time but she doesn't really want to talk to us ever but everysingle time in the back of my head I would think about her. So I prayed the night before and I was prompted to just write a simple note (a simple note in russian means coping phrases from one of my russian books haha about how God loves her haha) So i did it so saturday came and I was looking foreward to giving it to her and we were contacting all morning and I still haden't seen her and so I was kind of sad I was like ok I will give it to her next time I see her but on the way home we took a different way back and guess what as soon as we were about in front of our house she was walking down the street, I got a huge smile on my face and gave her the note that I wrote her. Heavenly Father really does work i mysterious ways haha. I haven't seen her yet since because we haven't done morning cnotacting again since saturday but I really hope it made a difference in ther life. I think God Created the opportunity so I think it will help her in some type of way. So that was my favorite story of the week.
Also, we went and visited this family the devadankos they are a less active family but they were so friendly they talk a lot and I am pretty sure I understood about 1% when they say like church jesus christ haha but it will come I made a new language study plan so I hope it pays off haha. but anyway about when we went over there I just have to mention where they live I promise it looked exactly like the tower of terror go to Disneyland and thats what is looked like I was a little nervour so ride on the elevator it was like I was in a movie. I just laughed and smiled and was like now this is Ukraine. haha I absolutly loved it.
Oh yea I ride the bus everyday and Its so funny yo watch people because they stare right at the tag and they think we don't see but no we see them I am trying to say in russian haven't you seen these tags before I don't think they understand I will soon get that phrase down. I am pretty sure I show everyone on the bus the picture of the family becaue I am confident in russian when I talk about my family. haha
Oh yeah this week there was a wedding it was so fun we had food we danced quite a bit and it was fun because like a wedding like this its mainly just the ward and a few friends they do everything at the church because its the nicest building and its cheap, there decorations were balloons and flowers haha and there food is bread with some turkey but they have really good candy here haha. I really hope I can send some pictures. We also taught the russians a country dance it was cool they really enjoyed watching us. Oh yea something that is different about Ukraine is they don't throw anything away, I was helping clean up and there were just like scraps of bread and I started to throw them away because they were dried out and stuff and they would not let me throw it away it was funny. They would even save some bread that had bites taken out of it.
Also, I eat cabbage and vegetable stir fry everyday and cereal and oatmeal I am trying to widen my eating but I just don't know what to buy because I can't read the label haha, So i rely on pictures. I eat a lot of watermelon and apples they are so tasty.
Oh yeah we were running the other day and we found some rich hood haha they had some grass and these places actually looked like they were livable it was cool it reminded us of being back in america haha.

The Latest
Angie has said the Russian is getting harder because they have to start putting everything into different cases and putting all the right endings on the end of the word. She is understanding quite a bit more when the teachers talk.
For fun Angie has been juggling a soccer ball. I guess they have this wall and you get to put your name up on the board if you beat the record. And if you know angie she is competitive and wanted to be up on the board so after a couple of weeks of practicing she made it up on the board with 120 juggles. The record was 105 so she was way excited about it!

Update
Angies testimony is growing every week. She just tells us how spiritual her days are. She says that she has learned that you truly converted first before sharing the gospel because you can share so much more. She is becoming better friends with her companion, she says she helps her so much with learning the language so much. And she just loves listening to her play her violin and how much she feels the spirit with music. She bore her testimony for the first time at fast and testimony meeting in Russian.
4th of July they got to have a "late night" 11:30! Waahoo They all went out on the field and was able to watch the fire works and have a little party. My mom mailed her some treats to share, and they loved them.
